Niners Chemnitz and Dresden Titans have signed a significant cooperation agreement to provide talented basketball players the opportunity to develop from youth levels to the 1st Basketball Bundesliga. This partnership aims to give young players valuable playing time to enhance their skills on the court. Niners Chemnitz, now in their seventh season in the BBL, focus on strong talent development. The Niners' reserve team competes in the 2nd Regionalliga, providing a platform for young players to prove themselves. The Dresden Titans have been represented in the 2nd Basketball Bundesliga since 2012 and also have a second men's team in the 1st Regionalliga. This collaboration between the two successful basketball locations in Saxony will undoubtedly help improve the quality of play and player development.
