Niners Chemnitz have strengthened their roster with Alex Richardson, a 2.06-meter tall and 108-kilogram center who played last season for Loyola University Chicago. Known as a strong rebounder and finisher near the basket, Richardson will play a central role in Chemnitz's game under the hoop. The 22-year-old was born in Glasgow but spent most of his childhood in Karlsruhe, previously playing for teams in Düsseldorf (ProA) and Frankfurt (ProB). After a season in NCAA Division 1 at Loyola University Chicago, where he gained valuable experience, he is now ready to take the next step in the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). Richardson is particularly excited about the strong fan culture of the Niners and is eager to prove himself in the BBL.
